86th Steps

He Walks! He has been taking a step or two or three several times a day for about a week now, but would only do it if there was something to grab onto as soon as he got wherever he was going. Yesterday, he took a leap and started heading across rooms. Thankfully, he only does it when encouraged and seems to have forgotten that it happened at all!

We have a CURL!

I know it is nearly impossible to see in this photo, but if you look hard enough you can figure out where it probably is. :) yay!

Angus was the only 5 week old we knew who could feed himself...



There were some technical difficulties...


but he doesn't exactly look underfed, right?


Fast forward to Oscar Night, 2008: now we have the only 8 month old who can spoon feed himself. mmmm... chicken, rice, & squash!

buh-buh-BALL!

Angus started saying mamamamamama maMA! this week... and apparently he can say ball now. (oh, and Nana is very good at saying ball too!)

The Cheerio Rule

The Cheerio rule was that as soon as he was able to pick them up and put them in his mouth... he could have them. I thought we were still a few months off, but he proved me wrong yet again!

Time to clean the floors!

it's finally happened! Angus discovered that being on his tummy isn't all bad. :) Hopefully now he will stop trying to walk everywhere and make it to his first birthday without a major head injury.

Teething Bites

Just ask Angus... but look how cute his teeth are! he he

Angus got a tooth just after Christmas, and another a couple of days after that. After a delightful break from teething the torture has started again. He is working on two big ones (a la Uncle Ted or Aunt Crit *wink*)
