  We have such a wonderful, generous family. Cristian, Brittainie, Ethan, Jacob & Veronica came early and cleaned, and cooked, and built and made our party a complete success! We are so grateful for them!

Tata & the Macarena: a love story

At the end of the last handful of visits we have paid to Angus' Tata & Lita's house Tata & Angus have danced to the Macarena. It is a tradition that started with Angus' cousins Ethan & Jacob; much to the dismay of their parents... and now Rod and I.

Last night we started to say goodbye and Tata left the room to turn on the stereo. Suddenly, Angus was on a mission! He was leaping from furniture piece to furniture piece to get to Tata. Never mind Momma who he had been clinging to all night, Tata was the only thing on his mind. MUST... HAVE... MACARENA! As the music started he stopped in his tracks, and began to dance. Bouncing, smiling, laughing, reaching for Tata.

So, sweet.
