Backseat Driver

 

Angus loves standing. This day he found it particularly amusing to stand up in his carseat while Rod was trying to buckle him in. I found it amusing too. Rod... did not. (well, he did, but for the sake of the blog post we will say that he did not.)

We did it!

We survived one entire week without Nana & Papo and even one entire day without grandparents as Tata & Lita left for Chile on Friday morning. Thank goodness Nana & Papo came back the very next day. The grandparent-less day was drama free. I think we are getting good at this!

We got a new camera. Yay! I wish I could take a picture of it to show it to you, but... oh wait, I can. Here is a picture of our new camera. It looks just like one of those chocolate See's suckers:

It's a family affair

Rod exits bedtime routine each night after the bath & jammies. His exit is signaled by a kiss; first one for Angus, then one for me. Tonight, Angus joined in on the one for me. he he

Picture This

We have no camera... ours broke while we were still at the park a few days ago. We had purchased a replacement plan, but alas... it has expired. :(

For now, picture this:

#1 Angus sitting on the rug with legs stuck straight out in front of him with a tissue box in his lap. He pulls out one and looks pleasantly surprised as another follows. He continues, one tissue at a time, gleefully grunting with each one until there is a pile of tissues so tall they come up to his waist. Then madly grabbing them in handfuls and throwing them into the air!

#2 Angus in the bathtub and me standing above him blowing bubbles. He stares in amazement as they float down around him. Then as they start to land he tries to pick them up and chuckles as he smashes them. The largest bubble lands on the tip of his nose long enough for him to stare at it cross eyed and give one final giggle before it pops.

Highlights from Angus' first trip to the park! Our camera broke later that day so it might be a while before we have new pictures to share. :( I intend to make up for that my posting vintage Angus soon. Miss you, Nana & Papo!

One Man Show

Our beautiful baby boy has a new skill... it is impossible to describe in words so a video follows for your viewing pleasure. The first video is of him refusing to perform, maybe performance anxiety? a little camera shy? or maybe he is just not being paid enough to work after hours.



With a little creative camera work we caught it later that night... yes, it seems forced, but this is what we have to do for you. :)
