MacKenney Farms: April

I originally intended to post weekly updates, but it took us this long to get the fence up (and therefore be photo ready) and let's face it... I'm a busy woman. Here is MacKenney Farms... still not quite done, but moving along. :)

So far we have had two casualties. A honeydew & a yellow bell pepper have passed. They are survived by two kinds of tomatoes, green & red bell pepers, banana peppers, string beans, spaghetti squash, strawberries, cabbage, red leaf letter, celery, canteloupe, & corn.

Angus 365: Days 1-3

A photo challenge has been posed on an online message board I am a part of. Take at least one picture of your baby a day and post them there to share with the world. I thought it would be a good idea to steal for our blog. So, we begin:

Day 1 (it's early... we're all tired):

Day 2 (during a family walk we stopped to pose in front of a luscious pine tree):
Day 3 (he is not supposed to be standing up in the bathtub):

Backseat Driver

Angus loves standing. This day he found it particularly amusing to stand up in his carseat while Rod was trying to buckle him in. I found it amusing too. Rod... did not. (well, he did, but for the sake of the blog post we will say that he did not.)

Rough Night?

Babies are weird sleepers... they wake up constantly (it's a survival mechanism, they are not actually trying to upset us. and don't deny them... you don't REALLY know there is nothing wrong. okay, speech over), and apparently they sleep in funny positions that look terribly uncomfortable.

In this one it looks like Angus woke up, sat up to complain about it, and fell back asleep (and subsequently forward) before he could think of what to say.
