and sitting in the dirt. I believe Day 4 was when Angus asked if he could take a bath.
We attempted a hike to the top of Pfeiffer Falls only to find that the trail was closed halfway up... no real payoff for the calories expended on that journey. But, it was awfully charming to hear "momma! i hiking!" from Angus every 5-7 paces or so.
We lingered for a while near a footbridge in the Big Sur "river" for a while which was much more of a creek than anything else but it was lovely and was a fine substitute for the view of the falls that should have marked the end of a tough hike.
